Teen Council is a free local opportunity for young people ages 11–18 to get involved, build leadership skills and connect with their community. The next meeting takes place October 13, 2026, at Woodland Hills Branch Library, with the program continuing through December 8.
Participants can explore meaningful ways to contribute locally while developing communication, collaboration and leadership experience. The meetings are also an excellent way to connect with other teens who want to make a positive difference.
Community service hours are available, making Teen Council a valuable option for students seeking hands-on involvement beyond the classroom. Families in Woodland Hills and nearby neighborhoods can share this opportunity with teens who are ready to take initiative.
Attendance is free. For dates, details and participation information, visit https://www.lapl.org/events/teen-council-58 and help a local teen take the next step toward community leadership.
